Going to new places can sometimes be intimidating, but we assure you when you come to Flowood you won’t feel out of place.  You won’t be called out during a service and asked to tell us your name, age, address or what you had to eat for breakfast, but we do have a time to greet each other in the name of the Lord.  Flowood has the reputation of being one of the friendliest churches in the area and we make a point to speak to you, but not make you feel uncomfortable.  Even if you’re new to church, it should feel like home as we welcome you to the “Family of God.”

At Flowood, we invite you to come in what makes you feel comfortable.  We can assure you that ‘church’ is not a fashion show and we don’t expect you to impress others.  You will see people wearing suits to blue jeans, so wear what makes you feel comfortable.

 

Services on Sunday generally begin with praise and worship with our greeting in between.  We have one large video screen in the front so you don’t have to worry about not knowing the words to the songs.  We have a blended service from praise and worship medleys to traditional hymns.  Pastor Ricky Gray will then give a message that God wants us to hear.
